The Great Lakes Scholars Parade honoring young scholars from around the Country, including Malik Gayler, my grandson, on August 23rd, 2008. This event was held at US Cellular Field before the Tampa Bay/White Sox game that day. Brief appearance of Ken Griffey, Jr. during the parade!
